My approach is relaxed and lightly guided. I’ll step in when you need me, but I also know when to leave things alone and see what happens.
I’m paying attention to the obvious moments, but I’m even more interested in the ones you didn’t know were happening…..the look between you, the hand that reaches for yours without thinking, the kid doing something completely them.
The longer I do this, the more I understand just how much photographs matter.
Because life has a sneaky way of changing while we’re busy living it. Your kids grow, their faces change, they stop doing that funny little thing they always did, and somehow you can’t quite remember when it happened.
A photograph can hold onto some of that.
Years from now, I want you to look at yours and remember things you had forgotten. Not just what everyone looked like, but who your kids were then. Who you were then. What life was like when you were all right there together.
And someday, these photographs won’t only be yours.
They’ll be theirs, too.

- It’s SEAnna, like the ocean, and like the name of my photography business.
- I married my high school sweetheart.
- Raising three little love children is my first job.
- I am a rare Hawai’i native
- Listening to audiobooks and /or podcasts is one of the ways I try to learn something new every day.
- I believe in second chances.
- I come from a family of nine children.
- A quote I admire is, “When love is your perspective, everything changes.”
- Plants are my top choice of home decor(no fakes).
- I don’t like conflict.
- Delighting in simple joys is something I am very intentional about.
- I am an extroverted introvert.
- Maui has my heart.
- Community is everything.
- I love travel, enjoy nature, and I always look forward to going on mini adventures with my family. They are my favorite humans.
