Relax by the Beach

There’s not a more relaxing spot in Hawaii than the beach! Take all the rest you can get, mama. Curl up with a book at Ka’anapali Beach or just enjoy the peaceful sound of crashing waves on the sand. Take a dip in the ocean when you need to cool down! You really can’t go wrong with a visit to the beach during your babymoon in Maui.

Go for a “Light” Hike

If you’re looking for a light physical activity in Maui, go for a small and easy hike! Hit a trail that isn’t too long or too high in elevation. Head to Iao Valley State Park and dip your feet in the river when you need to cool down for a break. There’s a trail for everyone, at all levels here in Hawaii. Be sure to talk with your doctor about what you can do and what you should avoid when you’re traveling while pregnant.

Indulge Your Cravings

Whether you’re craving something classic like a burger and ice cream, a smoothie to cool you down or something with a little more traditional Hawaiian flavor, Maui has tons of amazing restaurants to try. I recommend heading to Baya Bowls Acai Truck in Lahaina. Get a scoop of peanut butter, almond butter or Lilikoi fruit on top if it’s available. Lilikoi is a seasonal fruit you must-try!

Get a Pregnancy Massage

Pamper yourself! Hawaii has a lot of options available at spas and resorts to wind down and relax on your vacation. Find a trained masseuse who specializes in pregnancy massages. I recommend I’iwi Massage, she comes to you! Or if you’re looking to splurge on an entire spa day, head to The Montage in Kapalua. They have the best local spa facilities!
